Health psychology/behavioral medicine is the interdisciplinary field concerned with the development and
integration of behavioral, psychosocial, and biomedical science
knowledge and techniques relevant to the understanding of health and
illness, and the application of this knowledge and these techniques to

Psychologists who train and work in behavioral medicine take a holistic approach to medicine realizing that chronic illness has many dimensions that traditional medicines often cannot address. Realizes that stress, family, work, etc affects people differently, however these added stressors can affect how people feel and act.
Dr. Nicole Bereolos, PhD, MPH, CPH, CDE is experienced in just this. She focuses on helping others focus on healthy choices that can have long-term positive effects.
