Dr. Bereolos is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified diabetes educator who specializes in chronic disease management. Dr. Bereolos has had type 1 diabetes for over 20 years. The combination of her personal and professional experiences have enabled her to successfully change the lives of many of her patients.
In addition to working with patients ranging in age from 16 to 100, Dr. Bereolos is a published author in scientific peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in clinical trials (Phase II-IV) in the areas of infectious disease, endocrinology, psychiatry, neurology, and cardiology. She is a professional speaker and travels to conferences and professional events to share her expertise in chronic disease management.
Dr. Bereolos earned her Ph.D. in clinical health psychology from the University of North Texas. She completed a clinical internship at the UNT Health Science Center in the departments of family medicine and geriatrics. Dr. Bereolos completed additional post-doctoral training by participating in a fellowship at Brown Medical School.
